Claudia Hertel-ten Eikelder

Claudia Hertel-ten Eikelder graduated from University Duisburg-Essen in Germany with a diploma in political sciences. After her studies she worked as a consultant for a regional development agency promoting foreign direct investments to Germany before joining the Strategy and External Affairs Department at Hamburg Port Authority in June 2020. In her team the focus is set on R&D, technology, and innovations to integrate into future port operations. Defining the requirements and use cases from the Hamburg point of view, validating the SeaClear approach with stakeholders, and promoting the project among the extensive international ports and harbors community and network as well as enabling tests and demonstration activities are her key role in the project.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 871295.

The SEACLEAR project spans four years, running from January 1st, 2020 to December 31st, 2023.
