Renaud Bobin

Renaud is one of Subsea Tech’s Senior Project Engineers. He is a graduated engineer in 2005 in mechatronics from ISEN (Toulon) and joined Subsea Tech in 2009 after two years with Circé Ingéniérie in Aix en Provence. He has been involved with most of Subsea Tech developments over the past 9 years and is now a confirmed project engineer for subsea robotics projects.Renaud has developed numerous robotics system (ROVs and USVs), or part of systems, during his 9 years with Subsea Tech including Catarob, Observer PC and Tortuga the latest of the Subsea Tech ROV range, developments which all became standard products in Subsea’s range. He was the project manager for the Seacat project (2015) during which he developed a world premiere with the association of a ROV and a USV. He is a multidisciplinary engineer with an emphasis on embedded electronics and software but can also cope with electrotechnics and image treatment issues.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 871295.

The SEACLEAR project spans four years, running from January 1st, 2020 to December 31st, 2023.
