Bart De Schutter

Bart De Schutter is coordinator of SeaClear and PI for Delft University of Technology. He received the PhD degree in 1996, at K.U.Leuven, Belgium. Afterwards, he was a postdoctoral researcher at K.U.Leuven. In 1998 he started at Delft University of Technology as an assistant professor. Currently, he is full professor and head of department at the Delft Center for Systems and Control of Delft University of Technology. Bart De Schutter is associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and senior editor of the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems. His current research interests include control of hybrid systems, learning-based control, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and control of large-scale transportation and infrastructure networks.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 871295.

The SEACLEAR project spans four years, running from January 1st, 2020 to December 31st, 2023.
