About Subsea Tech

SUBSEA TECH SAS is an engineering SME based in Marseilles (France), specialized in the design, fabrication and the sales of intervention and instrumentation systems for underwater and marine applications, for oil and gas, naval and defense industries, as well as for underwater construction and marine sciences. Subsea Tech is certified ISO 9001-2015.

Subsea Tech has 3 lines of products: mini ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) for interventions down to 500m, USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) for hydrographic surveys and site surveillance, and underwater camera systems for divers and static applications.

Subsea Tech also develops bespoke equipment for underwater observation and intervention with an emphasis on turbid environments, using both enhanced video and acoustic imaging technologies. With a multi-disciplinary engineering group, Subsea Tech has the capability to develop complex technological systems and its seaside facilities in Marseille allow efficient testing and demonstration activities

Subsea Tech has a worldwide network of distributors and representatives covering over 50 major countries on the five continents.

Role in the Project

SST will be in charge of developing and/or supplying the robotic hardware needed in the project (WP2). They will also provide assistance in the robotic software developments (WP4) taking care of the sensor and gripping aspects of the project (D3.1, D3.2 and D3.4). The will finally be involved in the dissemination of the results of the project, contributing to the exploitation strategy (T7.4).
